Is Poker Skill ? Is it Pure Gambling?

As most of you know that playing online poker is LEGAL , however some of the banking transactions surrounding it have been threatened by the DOJ during the bush administration ....... anyways Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond has put a challenge out there to Pres Obama and any member of congress to play a cheap $1 buyin, single table tourney of poker , and if obama or member of congress wins then Phil Galfond will pay $1,000,000 to the charity of their choice , and obv they are trying to emphasize that poker is a game of skill and shouldnt be lumped in with sports betting and other forms of gambling

apparently this challenge has made it all the way to Fox News



after watching the video , i noticed that the reporter, Courtney Friel, actually used to be one of the hosts of the WPT ( world poker tour )

Where Have U Been??

I know I'm a horrible blogger , but this is my blog and if I wanted to deal with the rigors ( spelled right) of scheduling I would work 9-5....

Anyways, I've been on a horrible downswing for all of jan and feb and was losing a lot of confidence in my game, I took a 3 week break and now March has been going pretty good , I changed up my game a little and I am now playing a much lower variance style of play,

I hope to update more often , but I'm not sure my readers wanna hear about my bad beats or how well I trapped with pocket aces , so I'm going to have to keep you interested somehow

and for all u guys who are upset that I wasn't writing and kept comong back to check for updates , I have 2 words for u 'RSS READER' and u will never come here for no reason..

As I type this I'm listening to CNN and they talking about bernie madoff and his list of famous clients,and they said that actor Kevin Bacon was one of his clients and that he lost every penny he had except his real estate and money in checking account...talk about diversification!!
