Tried Playing Poker Yesterday

I tried sitting down and playing some poker but just wasn't feeling in the mood to play cash games, so I decided to just take it easy and played some low stakes single table sit n go's as well as some Heads Up sit n go's...i did relatively ok and was able to book a profit , it was very low stress and despite having a few bad beats like AA losing to K9 all in pre flop and some other similar stuff it didn't really bother me , perhaps bec it waslow stakes and the money wasn't meaningful..

Downswing and playing horribly

I guess I'm having a downswing .. I've lost 4 days in a row due to poor play and tilt, I'm glad that I set up a stop-loss for myslef so I didn't lose too much $ .. I also busted 2 step5 tix and one step 6 tix also bec of impatient bad play ,

I took the last few days off and perhaps after the weekend I will play more . I've decided that me and the family will be going to bahamas for PCA eventhough I didn't win a package , I def will not be buying in direct to the 10k main event, but they should have a few good live satelites a day or 2 before it starts , and this yr they are having some good side events , a 1k, 3k , 5k and a 25k high rollers event

I feel a little burnt out from full ring cash games right now , and despite the few days off , maybe when I do hit the felt again I will play something other than 2/4 NLHE or 5/10 NLHE
. Maybe ill just grind satelites , and earn lots of T$ ..

EASTON, Pa. – A supermarket is defending itself for refusing to a write out 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell's name on his birthday cake. Deborah Campbell, 25, of nearby Hunterdon County, N.J., said she phoned in her order last week to the Greenwich ShopRite. When she told the bakery department she wanted her son's name spelled out, she was told to talk to a supervisor, who denied the request.

Karen Meleta, a ShopRite spokeswoman, said the store denied similar requests from the Campbells the last two years, including a request for a swastika.

"We reserve the right not to print anything on the cake that we deem to be inappropriate," Meleta said. "We considered this inappropriate."

The Campbells ultimately got their cake decorated at a Wal-Mart in Pennsylvania, Deborah Campbell said Tuesday.

A Wal-Mart spokesman told The Associated Press on Wednesday that in light of the incident, the company would review its guidelines regarding cake decorations and other requests.

"It's clear that in serving this customer, some people were offended," spokesman Greg Rossiter said. "As a result, we're going to review our policies."

Heath Campbell said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because he liked the name and because "no one else in the world would have that name."

The Campbells' two other children are named JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, who turns 2 in a few months, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, who will be 1 in April.

Campbell said he was raised not to avoid people of other races but not to mix with them socially or romantically. But he said he would try to raise his children differently.

"Say he grows up and hangs out with black people. That's fine, I don't really care," he said. "That's his choice."

He said about 12 people attended the birthday party Sunday, including several children of mixed race.

Challenge

Well , I obviously didn't reach my goal , although I had a profitable last 4 weeks , I didn't play th volume that I thought I would , in fact I played less volume than normal....im still up about $4200 so I'm obv not complaining ..

I've also tried some of the steps tournaments to try to win a package to the bahamas like last yr , but I haven't had any success in them , I usually buy into step 2 or sometime step 3 using my fpp points and ran it up to step 5 three different times , only to bust out of step 5 twice with nothing to show and finally last week I was able to play a step 5 for the 3rd time and came in 3rd place which was good for a do over ticket at step 5 , I registered to the next avail and won...so now I'm sitting on a step 6 ticket...

I had in mind to play last night , but I didn't see any step 6's get off the ground .....and these days there are so many more choices of what to do with my step 6

choice 1 ) enter a tourney with 9 players total and 1 winner will get the $14.5k bahamas package , 2nd place get $2100 cash ( which is equivelant of a step 6 buy in ) and 3rd place get like $1600... I played this trny last year and ended up winning , although the past yr I've focused sooo much on cash games that I don't have confidence in myself in winning this step 6 where only 1 winner gets the prize

so, bec of that there are some other options...

There's a different step 6 , that has 10 players , and the top 4 will get a winners package , obv this winners package is cheaper than bahamas but obv easier to win , this package includes money for airfare , a few nights in a luxury resort in Chile ( that's in S. America for u dopes ) and an entry worth 3k into a tournament down there

I def wouldn't mind winning this , even though its not 7 nights in hotel and only 4 , and even though the trny entry isn't 10k and its only 3k , but it would still be a good vacation for me and the wife

there's also a step 6 I can play to win a package into an EPT event ( european poker tour ) ...the ept goes on during sept - apr and every month is in a different eaurpean destination , this yr they already played london,prague,warsaw, budapest, and maybe some others ... But going on now is step 6's for the EPT Deauville , which is like 50 miles away from paris , this step 6 has 10 players and top 2 win a package , package consists of money for airfare , hotel stay and I think an 8k buyin, and I think 3rd place gets like 1k...i would def try this also ....

Who Is Aaron Bartley ?

Im not sure , But i just knocked him out of a tournament on Full Tilt Poker !!

i know he is a red pro on full tilt , heres his bio page on FTP. I was playing a heads up tournament , and i faced Aaron Bartley in the first round. As soon as i knocked him out Full Tilt refunded my buyin ( of course they didnt refund the rake)and allowed me to order a tshirt stating that i knocked this pro out.

I didnt think he was such a pro , in fact i didnt even realize i was playign a red pro until after the KO.

Ill enjoy the tshirt when it comes ,
