Venting

I just played a 3 hr session and ended down about $200..i guess no big deal.

However according to my EV graph I shouldve been up about $1200..

here are some hands ,

my AK lost to AQ on a 3bet preflop..Kxx flop all the money went in, AQ was bluffing with no draws..runner runner straight...i didn't tilt and just laughed

I raised on the button with 55...flopped a set vs the small blinds flopped flush ...i guess that's a cooler

my KK loses to A3...all the money went in a Qxx board..he went running 3 3 ...

I'm not upset about this bec I played well and continued to play well and always put my money in +ev situations, but the poker gods weren't with me today .. I'm glad I didn't tilt or spew.... I'm finished for the day , maybe ill play some steps later

NEW YORK - What a relief! The free public restrooms operated by the Charmin toilet paper company in Times Square during the holidays are being rolled out for another year.
It's the third straight year for the 20 deluxe stalls.
The plush potties feature flat-screen televisions, attendants dressed in tuxedos and plenty of Charmin.
The loos are so luxurious that Charmin promises Times Square tourists will feel like kings sitting on their thrones before making their royal flushes.
The toilets are being inaugurated Monday with a ceremonial first flush by pop singer and Broadway star Joey Fatone (fuh-TOHN').
They'll be open every day through the end of the year except Christmas Day. For the first time they'll be open on New Year's Eve for the crowd watching the 2009 ball drop.

I've barely played so I'm way behind in the challenge, but I am still up so I'm plenty happy.. I've played 3 sessions avgeraging about 2 - 3 hrs each.. Playing 2 tables at once , I'm up $2100 ( I rounded down ) since the start of challenge

Sometimes I let Villain Bluff

heres a classic example of me knowing that i have the best hand preflop and after flop , but instead of leading out , i decide to check giving the illusion of weakness, but more important allowing my opponent the chance to bluff at it since i look weak , obv board texture is very important

obv a flopped set beats me so im saving some money by keeping pot small and check calling , and it is hard for me to put him on an over pair , all in all , im happy with the way i played this

i played a short session today and im up $632 ,
$15k doesnt seem that far away , lol

i went to the gym today , did about 35 min of cardio , and played poker about 45 min afterwards ,
i feel that when i play after a workout it reallyhelps my game , im able to focus alot more , im going to try to continue this routine of playing after a workout

I haven't played online poker in a while , mainly bec I don't usually play on weekends and the whole last week I was in las vegas ... However , I'm stilling thinking and reading about it a lot, I browse the strategy forums a lot using my Treo, and I feel very strong about my game lately ...

Ad these next few weeks I want to put a lot of time into playing online and live if I get the chance . But I also want to play some satelites to live tourneys as well, I would love to win a bahamas trip again , I noticed that pokerstars is running sat's for a smallish event in mexico as well..

anyways...my goal is $15k...starting sunday ,nov 16 and ending Dec 19

From Rio to Bellagio

I decided on a last minute trip to Vegas

3 days ago I was sitting in the Bellagio...a few tables over I saw Chino Rheem playing $25/$50 and sweating him from the rail was The Grinder ...
and about 5 min later about 10 ppl walk into the poker room wearing white shirts and red St. Louis caps..and they were all surrounding a middle aged bald guy dressed in black..obv the bald guy was 3rd place finisher Dennis Phillips...who pocketed 4.5 millllllllion about 24 hours previous , he sits down at my $2/$5 table and buys in ... for the minimum,lol

i played 3 tourneys , i played @ at the caesars mega stack series that they are running , and then i headed to the venetian for their Deep STack , it was a great trny , i went prett deep , but attempted a bluff that didnt work out and failed to cash.

ALL in all i made about 2.5 k this trip , not bad , but was hoping for more
