Gmail is Great

I used to be a huge Hotmail person , i even had a hotmail email address before microsoft bought them , i think i signed up in summer of 96.
few yrs ago i decided to use gmail , bec of their free pop3 access, unlimited storage , etc... im sure hotmail is in process of catching up , and i still use that adress as my spam address ( the address i give out to newsletters, marketers , or anything i sign up for ) and i check it once a month

the reason i thought of this is bec i just got an email , and was actually logged into the gmail system as opposed to my treo or mobile browser , and the person had sent me a tracking # for a package im expecting , and as im in middle of using my mouse to cut and paste the # , at the same time clicking ctrl - T opening a new browser tab to check the ups.com site, i notice this:

a link to the exact tracking page with my tracking # already 'inputted' ( is that a word) into url so it brings me to results page.. I even wrote an email to myself with a USPS tracking # and it worked to so its not some exclusive from the highest bidder.... and , yes , i know , i obv have way too mcuh time on my hands to be writing this

OOP Hand and a Tough Call on the River

Heres a hand i played OOP ( out of position ), but only bec i was able to limp in free on the big blind ( BB ). I figured i was ahead after the flop and def the turn , once the flop hit i figured i would check-call down the whole way unless scary cards came ...
The river was pretty scary but i made the call anyways figuring he had mid pair

heres the hand in the 2 converters again , some of you RSS reader guys cant view one of the hand replayers

Does Anyone Read My Blog Anymore

I haven't gotten a comment to any ofmy posts in g-d knows how long... If ur reading this ..just send me a comment and say hi

- sent from my Treo

Is this a Good Fold Preflop

Heres a very interesting hand where i fold Pocket Queens preflop , the inital raiser is a pro who plays a few tables at once and is def a winning player , and the reraiser is a similiar player who plays alot and is def a winning player , not a donkey ... so when it came around to me i decided that they are both very strong and i can save my money for a better spot , if this was a tourney , i wouldve shoved , but in cahs games theres no rush to accumulate chips , and no reaosn to put money in if i feel i may be behind

heres the hand in both hand connverters

This was a tough call that i made ,

I knew this guy was strong , and i only made the call bec i felt he was very strong preflop ,

Despite the hand replayer, the turn call for me put me in the tank for a while before i called, and then the river call for me was even more tough , i had almost folded thinking perhaps this guy was just playing top pair after the flop ... but after i really thought about it i had put him on a high pair and made the great call ,

after thinking about this hand for a while, i realized , that in my eraly days of poker i wouldve snap called and thought to myself, "screw it, i flopped the nuts so its my pot" , similar to an amateur not being able to lay down pocket AA on a scary board... and a little while back i wouldve folded and slapped myself for playing so bad and letting this guy catch up....and now ( when i think im playing my optimal) i made the call ....what does that mean , good players and n00bie donks play alike? lol
