My Day at The Borgata

I got to the borgata at 9:30 am yesterday with plenty of time before the 11am tournament. I registered for the tourney , costing me $50 + 10 and was told they were expecting about 400 players.

With over an hour before the tourney started, I sat down at a 1/2 table with $100 in chips and was hoping to make enough to cover my tournament entry. I had a bit of a card rush and by 11am was up $115. While waiting online to cash my chips , some other dude there asked to buy my chips off me so he doesn't have to wait either..he only had 20's on him and told me to keep the change and gave me $220

I lasted about 4 hours in the tourney until I busted , not sure what # , but there were about 19 tables left.

I then sat down at 1/2 and played very tight and waited for good cards. The good cards came and I was able to make $355 profit. I had already decided that I was not going to stay for the big 7pm tourney, reason being was that I was very tired and knew I couldn't play straight. After about 2 hours on the 1/2 I got up and left.

later on last night , I logged on and sat at the 2/4 table with $240 ...i waited for the blinds to go around a few times until I picked up pocket KK. I limped in and the big blind made it $30 and I flat called. Flop came J 3 8 rainbow , I checked , he went all in , I called.......the turn was a blank and the river was the 1 card I was affraid of , it was an ace , and I figured he had at least AX .. I was wrong , he had pocket aces .. What a cooler!!
