I was doing a bit of blog reading yesterday and after reading Lou Krieger's Blog , which is great and a must read, And he mentions that PokerStars is offering eCheck deposits for its USA customers !! This is great for all of you who had tried to make deposits using epassporte or western union and hated all the fees involved. I logged into PS and went to the deposit option in the cashier, and lo and behold isee that Im approved for the eCheck option . Luckily for me i dont need to make a deposit, but i tried it anyways for $100 and i got instant credit!!
Im not sure how this is allowed or why this is now being done , but im glad to know there are options for deposits that dont cost a crapload in fees.

I'm concerned as to why Poker Stars' Echeck requires your social security number and your birthdate. With this information and your checking account number, I can envision numerous identity theft problems if it gets in the wrong hands, How do I know that this information is seure??
I just used WU. They took 15 of my dollars, but the gola is to build a successful bankroll. If you fail on PS, im out 115 instead of 100. Either way I failed.
If i succeed. It's my own fault I was at $2000 then lost. and if im at $200 0 and winning, who cares about 15 bucks. better than having your identity stolen by the government.
